Growing up I was not always the biggest fan of most sports. I cheered through high school but was never one to sit down and watch a game. However when I came to college that all changed. I am a photographer for the school paper “The Lumberjack” and was assigned a basketball game. The moment I turned those in I knew that was what I wanted to do. Being able to form my career around sports makes me even more excited about it. While shooting game photos seeing how much emotion everyone has makes my day and I love capturing that. This is why I chose to do my project on a game day. You do not always realize how much happens on a game day but also how much more happens besides just the game action. I hope you enjoy my project.
