SHANNON COWAN
My name is Shannon Ainsley Cowan and I’m a live music, portraiture and lifestyle photographer. I fell in love with photography around age 5 when I got my first camera, my dad’s point and shoot – and haven’t stopped shooting since. I took a photography class on a whim in high school and that’s where I discovered my passion for photography. I then took my love of music and my love of photography and decided that I would be a concert photographer at the ripe old age of 15.
I started photographing concerts when I moved to Flagstaff to attend school in 2016. I come from a family of musicians and have been surrounded by music my entire life. Nothing makes me happier than being surrounded by music. From the emotions of the artists to the energy of the crowd, I want to capture it all.
