Facing the Darkness
As someone who has survived cancer at a young age, I wanted to use this project as an opportunity to explore the darker emotions that I experienced. “Facing the Darkness” is a conceptual look the strongest emotions I had to prosses at the time of my diagnosis; emptiness, fear, loneliness, disgust, betrayal, and loss. All of these darker feelings were things that at the time I did not have time to prosses. Through this project I have been able to prosses these emotions and channel them into pieces of art I am proud of.
