I grew up a theatre kid with a passion for photography, I never thought I could combine the two. But I did and it was the best decision I could have made. It is clear that my extensive love and passion for photography and theatre are evident as I get to use my creativity to resonate with artists, designers, and dreamers to showcase the moments captured in life around us.
The objective of this project was to make fun, creative portraits that showcase the unique and lovable characters from Broadway shows. Broadway shows have a habit of creating a variety of characters that theatre lovers find themselves in. This project allowed the models and I to step into their favorite character’s shoes while also creating a newfound love for the shows. Theatre is a community that thrives on creating and achieving dreams while showcasing people of all different sizes, races, or gender and I want to help celebrate the magic of theatre with these photos.
