My love for cooking started at a young age when I would join my mother and grandma in the kitchen, absorbing all the knowledge I could. Since then I have now used my culinary skills to adapt ingredients to create vegetarian-inspired meals. Cooking has become a growing passion of mine as it is a way for me to show my love and heart for others. As a photographer, I am able to capture the love that goes into cooking, alongside the memories and emotions that surround food.
My project for home is inspired by meals that have become my comfort food over the years. These dishes not only embody a sense of home but capture the rich culture of Asian dishes. Styling in my opinion is the best part of food photography as I'm able to showcase the natural beauty of each dish, from the intricate details of its presentation to the textures and flavors. Through my lens, I aimed to convey the sense of passion that goes into every aspect of Asian cuisine and to celebrate the rich culture. I hope my project inspires you to think of dishes that feel like home and makes you a little hungry along the way.
