Ever since I was a young child, I have wanted to tell stories. I grew up expressing myself through dancing, writing, and photography. I never considered Photography to be anything more than a hobby, but when I struggled to find a major that felt right in college, I realized that Photography was actually my passion and my calling in life. My work aims to tell the stories of the world around me through beautiful people, beautiful relationships, and beautiful surroundings. This project is special to me because it allows me to give my loved ones a voice and portray the perseverance that I see in them on a daily basis. These images explore the places that my friends and family feel most vulnerable, while simultaneously conquering those apprehensions with a positive twist.
