I have always been a quiet observer of the world. Growing up in the desert, you learn to look closely in order to find beauty in details and light. For me, photography is entirely about capturing and preserving moments that others might overlook. I have translated my love of unconventional photography to other more commercial aspects of my work such as my portraits. I love taking photos of people because every face seems so interesting, and each person’s personality is something I observe and include into all my work. Now I find myself working within a duality of professional and traditional types of work which include my own creative spin on and passion projects that engage me creatively and challenge me technically to continue to be an accomplished photographer.
