Michael Gregersen

Products and Companies stand alone and are unique, they were created and built to fulfill a consumer need. I became inspired to capture the story and the need the company is trying to fulfill. Growing up I always knew I wanted to sell a product, but I found inspiration behind a lens. I combined the idea of selling products, and my inspiration behind the lens to create my work. 

 

When I stand in front of a product I don't just see the product, I see the potential of the message. I see the selling points. I don't write the message out of the intention,  I capture it. I tell the story through one moment in time. The company and its product is part of the story, and that thought is what makes my work so unique. I'm not selling the same message for similar products, because each product has its own unique message and purpose for being sold. 

 

I am motivated to capture the uniqueness of each company’s products and the ability to creatively sell their story in one photo. Every image I capture is original to the company, their product, and their needs. My work should allow the product and its company's vision to be understood by their directed clientele.
